Eight turkeys stolen from Ocle Pychard farm

Eight turkeys worth up to £800 in total have been stolen from a farm in Herefordshire.

The birds were taken from inside a chiller in one of the barns at Ocle Pychard - off the A417 between Leominster and Newtown crossroads.

Police said the thieves got in through a gate at the rear of the yard sometime between midnight on Saturday and 06:00 GMT on Sunday.

They said the turkeys were individually boxed ready for Christmas.
