Pedestrian killed in Worcester Road, Pershore crash

A man has died after being hit by a car in Worcestershire.

It happened at 22:50 GMT on Friday on the B4084, Worcester Road, just outside of Pershore, West Mercia Police said.

The pedestrian, who has not yet been identified, received serious head and internal injuries, West Midlands Ambulance Service said.

He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, where he later died. West Mercia Police has appealed for witnesses to come forward.
