A man has been charged with murder following the fatal stabbing of a 21-year-old woman in Worcestershire.

Kirsty Wright suffered serious stab wounds at a house on Evesham Road in Redditch on Saturday morning. She died in hospital on Sunday.

West Mercia Police arrested Akeel Hussain, 29, at the same address on Saturday afternoon.

Mr Hussain, of Pembroke Croft, Birmingham, appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court earlier.
