A major route into Worcester has been partially reopened after a water main burst, damaging the carriageway.

The A443 Worcester to Tenbury Wells road was closed on Monday at the junction of Hylton Road and Henwick Road, near the University of Worcester.

Severn Trent Water said it has repaired the burst water pipe and is now checking the leak has not affected any other parts of the road.

Three-way temporary traffic lights are allowing traffic access to Hylton Road.
