River Wye near Hereford searched for missing kayakers

A river was searched for four hours during the night for two people feared missing while kayaking.

The pair missing in the River Wye near Hereford were found at about 07:15 BST, "safe and well" according to police.

The search was launched at about 02:40 when a woman made an emergency call to say she was experiencing difficulties and had become disorientated while kayaking with a male companion.

The A438 in Swainshill was closed during for the search.
