A man who sexually abused two boys between 1998 and 2002 has been jailed for 16 years.

Jason Cresswell, 43, of Turners Close, Blackpole, Worcester, was sentenced on Thursday at Hereford Crown Court.

He previously pleased guilty to multiple sexual abused charges and gross indecency with a child.

The offences were committed against two boys under 16 in the Worcester area and were reported last year.

Det Insp Andrew Price, from West Mercia Police, said: "The victims, both adults now, reported the offences in February 2013 and we began a lengthy investigation.

"I hope this will encourage other victims to speak out in order to gain the justice they deserve and ensure that dangerous sex offenders are prevented from offending again."
