Karen Wild killing: Son Lian admits stabbing mother

A man has admitted stabbing his mother to death at their home in a Worcestershire village.

The body of Karen Wild, 42, was found at her house in School Road, Hanbury, near Droitwich, on 30 January 2014.

Lian Wild, 23, pleaded guilty to manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility at Birmingham Crown Court on Friday.

The judge accepted his not guilty plea to a charge of murder.

Wild, also of School Road, Hanbury, was remanded in custody until sentencing on 5 May.
