Three talking birds have been stolen during a burglary in Droitwich.

The two African grey parrots and a cockatiel, called Coco, Congo and Joey, were taken in a break-in at Stalls Farm Road at about 21:00 BST on Saturday.

"All three birds talk and say their own names," police said.

PC James Prosser, said: "I urge anyone who saw anything suspicious at the time, in particular someone with three birds in one large cage, to make contact with us as soon as possible."

He added: "I am also asking anyone who may have been offered the birds for sale or know of anyone who has recently acquired a new parrot to get in touch."
