The living room of cottage was demolished when a car crashed through the wall in the early hours.

The black Ford Fiesta was left embedded in the wall in Hanbury, Worcestershire, at about 01:50 BST on Sunday.

No-one was injured, but two people at the property were forced to spend the night at a hotel, Hereford and Worcester Fire Service said.

A spokesman said: "We used search and rescue equipment to make sure no one was trapped in the car."

Fire crews used specialist equipment to reinforce the property and worked with police to remove the vehicle.
