Grimsby teenager to appear at crown court over wounding

A teenager will appear before Grimsby Crown Court on 3 May charged with wounding with intent after a man was stabbed in North East Lincolnshire.

Humberside Police were called to Hainton Avenue, Grimsby at about 1840 BST on Good Friday after reports a man had been stabbed.

James Daniel Jones, 19, of Hainton Avenue was charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

He was given conditional bail at Grimsby Magistrates' Court on Monday.

Humberside Police said the victim, 27, was in a stable condition in the town's Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital.
