Adam Vincent: Tests released on severed head

A man whose body parts have been found in a North Lincolnshire river died from a traumatic head injury, a post-mortem examination found.

A severed head was found in the River Ancholme, near Brigg on Monday. Police believe it belongs to missing man Adam Vincent, 33, from Grimsby.

Other partial remains were found in Tetney Lock, near Grimsby, in March.

Detectives are awaiting DNA testing on the body parts to officially confirm the identity.

Mr Vincent's family have been made aware of the findings.

Six people have been charged in connection with the death of Mr Vincent.
