A teenager has been told he faces custody after pleading guilty to injuring a four-year-old girl who was hit in the face with a brick.

Jersey-Lou Perry suffered "horrendous injuries" after a brick was thrown through the window of her father's van in Grimsby, police said at the time.

Kallan Richardson, 18, admitted grievous bodily harm, at Grimsby Magistrates' Court.

He was released on bail until his sentencing on 12 September.

Jersey-Lou was said to have suffered a broken nose, two lost teeth and numerous other injuries to her face in the incident, which took place on Rutland Street in April.
