Immingham Council improves recycling for residents

Residents in North East Lincolnshire are to get more recycling facilities.

Immingham council has upgraded its service at Kennedy Way so people can now recycle glass, paper, cans and plastic bottles in the town.

Councillor Alex Wallace said he hoped the improvements would encourage people to make use of the site.

It is part of a plan to deter people from fly-tipping at the site. Extra services include charity textile banks and a bin for carrier bags.
