Humber Bridge reopens after man freed from vehicle

The Humber Bridge has been reopened in both directions after it was closed when a van overturned trapping its driver inside.

Emergency services were called to the bridge at about 12:45 BST after the van tipped over on the central reservation.

The driver, a 33-year-old man from Hedon, was freed and taken to Hull Royal Infirmary.

The man is said to have suffered an injury to his arm, but his condition is not life-threatening.
