East Riding of Yorkshire Council offers budget meetings
Residents across East Yorkshire are being asked what they want cash to be spent on as councillors consider their budget for the next financial year.
From Monday a series of events is being opened across the area for people to express their views.
A similar exercise in January saw residents' top priorities listed as public health, highways, vulnerable children and vulnerable adults.
Council leader Stephen Parnaby said budget cuts were "a challenge".
Councillor Parnaby said: "We recognise that residents have their own views on what they think our priorities should be and would like to invite people to join us and share those opinions.
"Large-scale reductions in government funding mean that setting a budget for 2012/13 which enables us to continue providing quality services to residents will be more challenging than ever."
The events are being run at Beverley Leisure Centre on Monday; Bridlington Spa on 1 December and Brough Business Centre on 9 December.
