North Lincolnshire Council seeks views on services

Residents of North Lincolnshire are being asked for their views on the future management of sports, leisure and cultural services.

The council said it did not have to provide these services but did so "because of the benefits" enjoyed by communities.

Officers at the council want to hear residents' views at a series of meetings in the new year.

Some of the facilities are owned by the council, but managed by others.

The meetings are being held at Epworth Youth Centre on 9 January from 1800 GMT to 2000 GMT.

Further meetings will be held at the Visual Arts Centre on 10 January; Ancholme Leisure Centre on 11 January from 1700 GMT and the Assembly Rooms at Barton on 12 January from 1800 GMT.
