Fire crews have tackled a blaze at a derelict nightclub in East Yorkshire.

Humberside Fire and Rescue Service were called to Teddy's on Withernsea's South Promenade just after midnight on Friday.

Four fire engines were sent to the scene and the blaze was under control by 04:00 GMT.

The service said the fire had started at the front of the club and had quickly spread to the roof. No one was in the building at the time.
