Humber economy and roads get £5.8m boost

A £5.8m fund to encourage economic growth and improve roads in the Humber region has been announced.

The money has been provided by the Department for Communities and Local Government.

It is aimed at developers, businesses and community groups who can access funding by applying.

The Humber Local Enterprize Partnership said it hoped it would fund projects that would create jobs and bring new investment into the area.
