No charges over allegations baby hurt at Scunthorpe hospital
No members of staff at a North Lincolnshire hospital will face criminal charges over allegations a baby was injured during treatment.
Humberside Police started an inquiry last month after allegations were made that a baby was restrained on Scunthorpe hospital's Disney Ward.
The force said the decision not to bring charges was made after officers carried out a "number of inquiries".
An internal investigation was continuing, the hospital trust said.
The BBC understands the investigation involves four nurses and a healthcare support worker, who have been suspended.
Humberside Police said all of those involved had been told of the force's decision.
Disney Ward caters for patients aged up to 16, who have a variety of medical and surgical needs.
