Body in Humber estuary named as missing Stuart Gilson

A body found in the Humber estuary has been identified as a missing 21-year-old man from Hull.

Stuart Gilson's body was discovered on the River Humber's north bank between Brough Haven and Gilberdyke on Saturday.

Mr Gilson, of Annandale Road, had been missing since a night out in January.

Police said his death was not being treated as suspicious. Hundreds of people took part in unofficial searches for Mr Gilson co-ordinated on Facebook.
