Police have been given more time to question a 26-year-old man arrested in connection with the murder of a man in East Yorkshire.

The body of Peter Battle, 56, was found by police officers at his home at Whisker Cottage, Full Sutton, near Pocklington, on 7 February.

A post-mortem examination found he died of head injuries.

Mr Battle, an antiques dealer, may have been killed some weeks before his body was discovered, Humberside Police said.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information about Mr Battle to come forward.
