Flights resume at Humberside Airport after snowfall

Flights are operating at Humberside Airport following earlier problems caused by the wintry weather.

Flights were cancelled earlier due to the snow but a spokeswoman said the airport was now open as normal with no delays.

Elsewhere across the region, there has been little disruption with gritters working to clear all the main routes.

East Yorkshire Motor Services (EYMS) said there was no disruption to its bus services.

Scunthorpe United's match against Doncaster Rovers is still going ahead later after fans responded to calls to go to the ground and help clear the pitch.
