Three held in Scunthorpe over murder of 41-year-old man

Three people have been arrested on suspicion of the murder of a man in Scunthorpe.

The 41-year-old died in hospital after he was found with a "life-threatening wound" at a house on Frodingham Road at about 21:30 BST on Thursday.

Two women, aged 22 and 38, and a 27-year-old man are being held in custody, Humberside Police said.

A cordon has put been put in place outside the property and a post-mortem examination is due to take place later.

The force said the suspects were all known to the victim and detectives were not looking for anyone else in connection with his death.
