Cargo ship crewman falls overboard in River Humber

The search for a man who fell overboard from a cargo vessel in the River Humber has been suspended.

An RAF rescue helicopter, lifeboats and 25 commercial vessels were involved in the search operation.

The man was a crew member on a Dutch cargo ship travelling to Immingham.

It is believed he went overboard as the vessel passed Grimsby shortly after 20:00 BST. The rescue operation was suspended six hours later.
