A bus has crashed into the front of a bungalow near Hull.

The East Yorkshire Motor Services number 66 went through a garden wall before embedding itself in the front of the house on Northgate.

Yorkshire Ambulance Service said three people on the bus received minor injuries, two were treated at the scene and one was taken to hospital.

There was nobody in the house at the time of the accident, shortly after 08:00 BST.

Barry Keen, whose brother-in-law owns the house, said: "He was a bit stunned and maybe thought it was a bit of wind-up."

He added: "We are decorating the house. The bus has gone through the front lounge."

Police said that part of Northgate remained closed and work continued to remove the bus.
