Man cut free from Hull shopping centre charity clothes bin

A man who became trapped inside a clothes recycling bin at a Hull shopping centre car park had to be cut free by firefighters.

Humberside Fire and Rescue Service said they were called to the charity bin by security staff at the St Stephen's Centre at 05:07 BST.

A fire service spokesman said the man was not injured and paramedics were not called.

Humberside Police said a man had been arrested on suspicion of theft.
