Hull derelict school building gutted in fire

A derelict school has been gutted by a blaze in Hull.

The fire started at the disused Blundell Street Board property on Strand Close, off Beverley Road, at about 23:00 BST on Saturday.

Humberside Fire and Rescue Service said it had sent five crews and two aerial platforms to fight the blaze. It was brought under control by 04:30 BST.

No casualties were reported. The fire service said it had started an investigation.
