Kent artist sells paintings for Pakistan flood victims

A Kent artist is selling his entire collection of paintings to raise money for the victims of the Pakistan floods.

Shaukat Khan, from Canterbury, is holding an online auction for his studio collection of 20 paintings, with the proceeds going to UNICEF.

Mr Khan, who works from his garage, came to Britain 50 years ago, but most of his family still live in Lahore.

He raised £2,000 for UNICEF after the Pakistan earthquake in 2005 and hopes the new sale will raise £5,000.

The auction, on the Khan Art website, ends on 23 September.
