Woman injured in double stabbing in Kent 'stable'

A 50-year-old woman is still in intensive care after being seriously injured in a double stabbing in Kent which left a man dead.

Paul Rivett, 54, died in hospital after suffering serious stab wounds at a property in Ash Grove, St Margaret's-at-Cliffe, near Dover, on 16 March.

Kent Police said the woman, who was also stabbed, was in a stable condition in hospital.

Detectives do not believe anybody else is connected with the incident.

A force spokeswoman said: "Kent Police in Dover are appealing for witnesses and information following the double stabbing which happened at Ash Grove.

"Investigations are continuing into the circumstances leading up to the incident and police would like to speak to anyone who was in the vicinity during the time of the incident."
