Sir Donald Sinden to receive Kent honorary degree

Stage and screen actor Sir Donald Sinden and author Vikram Seth are among those set to receive honorary degrees from the University of Kent.

Others to be recognised at ceremonies in Canterbury and Rochester cathedrals include science writer Dr Simon Singh and BBC correspondent Mark Mardell.

Oscar-winning musician and composer Anne Dudley is also among those to receive an honorary degree.

The graduation ceremonies are to be held between 15 July and 21 July.
