Man charged over fatal attack near Margate club Kabuki

A man has been charged with the manslaughter of a man attacked outside a Kent nightclub, police have said.

The victim, whose name has not been released, was assaulted outside the Kabuki Bar in Margate in the early hours of Saturday.

He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital in Margate where he died from his injuries hours later.

Kent Police said Charlie McBride, 19, of Brighton Road, Sutton, south London, had been charged with manslaughter.

He is due to appear at Thanet Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

Police have appealed for witnesses as they believe about 30 people were outside the bar at the time of the incident.
