Three more people have been arrested over the murder of a man who died 10 days after he was found unconscious in the middle of a Kent town.

Luke Marchington, 24, of Sheerness, was discovered near the clock tower in the town's High Street in the early hours of 12 June.

He was taken to Kings College Hospital in London but died on 22 June.

Kent Police said three men aged in their 20s were arrested and questioned about his death.

They have been bailed until 11 August.

The force believes the victim was injured during an incident that began in the Tudor public house and spilled out on to High Street.

Officers have been carrying out house-to-house inquires and distributing leaflets about the incident as part of their investigation.

A 21-year-old woman and a man, aged 23, arrested on Saturday on suspicion of murder are also on police bail.
