Witnesses sought in Luke Marchington murder inquiry

Police investigating the murder of a man in Kent are returning to the scene in a fresh appeal for witnesses.

Luke Marchington, 24, of Sheerness, was discovered near the clock tower in the town's High Street early on 12 June. He died in hospital 10 days later.

It is believed he was injured during an incident that began in the Tudor pub and spilled out on to the High Street.

Four men and a woman have been arrested and bailed over his death. Another man was released without charge.

Detectives have been trawling through CCTV images in their search for new witnesses, and will question people out in the town on Saturday night.
