Detectives have released details of a man they want to trace in connection with the murder of his wife in Kent.

It follows the discovery of the body of 22-year-old Edite Titane at a house in Cecil Road, Rochester, on Monday. Police were called at 09:54 BST.

Ms Titane, who is from Latvia, moved to Medway in April to be closer to family.

Det Chief Insp Jon Clayden said police wanted to speak to her 24-year-old husband, Agris Titans, who moved to Medway from Latvia three months ago.

He said Mr Titans arrived in the UK in search of work and police believed he may still be in the area.

He is described as 5ft 5in tall and of slim build.

A post-mortem examination is to be carried out on the body of Ms Titane on Tuesday to find the cause of death.
