Dartford shooting: Two men arrested after man injured

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a 51-year-old man suffered shotgun wounds in Kent.

Armed police were called to an address in Moorhen Walk, in Greenhithe, at about 21:50 BST on Monday after gunshots were heard, but found it empty.

Darenth Valley Hospital later reported it was treating a man with shotgun wounds to his abdomen and head. He is currently in a stable condition.

Two men, aged 42 and 24, were arrested early on Tuesday in Tunbridge Wells.

Anyone who witnessed the shooting or the moments leading up to it is asked to contact police.
