Guinea pigs found dumped in Kent man's garden

A Kent man found 37 guinea pigs dumped in his back garden on his return from holiday.

April Lodge Guinea Pig Rescue had a call from the man on Sunday saying he had found the animals.

The guinea pigs, which were heaped into boxes, crushed, stressed, dehydrated and in shock, were taken to a rescue centre near Herne Bay.

They are being treated and the centre is now urgently trying to find homes for them all.
