The family of a motorcyclist who died when his bike collided with a car in Kent has said his death has left a "huge hole" in their lives.

Luke Foale, 25, of Chatham, suffered fatal injuries in the crash in Laker Road, Rochester, on Thursday.

Emergency services carried out first aid but Mr Foale died at the scene.

His wife, Nicola, said: "Luke lived life to the full and crammed a lot into his 25 years, living it the way he wanted."

'Wonderful son'

Mrs Foale said her husband was a "very impulsive and likeable rogue with a hard exterior but a soft and emotional heart".

Mr Foale's parents, Jeff and Barb, thanked people who helped their son on the day of the accident.

In a statement, they said he was a "wonderful son, brother and husband".

The force has appealed for witnesses to the accident to contact officers.
