Biker killed in crash with lorry in Snodland

A motorcyclist was killed and his passenger seriously injured when a bike and a lorry crashed in Kent.

Kent Police said the man suffered fatal injuries when a motorbike collided with a truck on the A228 in Snodland at about 11:40 BST on Friday.

The female pillion passenger was airlifted to Kings College Hospital in London with serious injuries.

Kent Police closed the road at Ham Hill roundabout and Rockford Road temporarily following the incident.

The driver of the lorry was unhurt in the crash.

Officers have appealed for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
