Battle of Britain flypast planned at Capel-le-Ferne

The 71st anniversary of the Battle of Britain will be marked by a flypast over the Kent monument to honour the pilots who took part.

A Supermarine Spitfire and a Hawker Hurricane will fly over the National Memorial to the Few at Capel-le-Ferne.

Ex -service personnel will also attend a service at the site. The flypast will take place at 11:05 BST on 15 September.

The service has been organised by the Battle of Britain Memorial Trust.
