Folkestone street fight victim leaves hospital

A man who received "very serious" head injuries in a street fight in Kent has been released from hospital.

The man, 42, was injured in Marshall Street, Folkestone on Friday night.

He was taken to the William Harvey Hospital with what were initially described as very serious head injuries.

A 22-year-old man from Folkestone, who was arrested on suspicion of assault, has been released on police bail until 17 October.

Kent Police have renewed their appeal for witnesses to come forward.
