A 71-year-old man who died from multiple stab wounds to his chest and arms at his family home in Kent has been named by police.

The body of Terence Wotton was found by police at the house in Mackenzie Way, Gravesend at 23:00 BST on 12 September.

His wife, Joan, said he was a caring, loving husband, father, brother and granddad who would be greatly missed.

Mr Wotton's 47-year-old son Tony, of Mackenzie Way, has been remanded in custody charged with murder.

The case was adjourned until 25 November when Tony Wotton appeared at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday.
