Women hurt in three-car collision near Tonbridge

A motorist is in a serious condition in hospital following a three-car collision near Tonbridge.

Kent Police said the accident involving a Saab, a Nissan Micra and a Rover happened on the A21 at Castle Hill at 07:35 BST.

The driver of the Nissan, a 50-year-old woman, was taken to Kings College Hospital in south-east London. She is in a serious but stable condition.

The other drivers, both women in their 50s, were treated for minor injuries.

The A21 was closed in both directions but re-opened at 12:30 BST.
