Three men in their 20s have each been jailed for eight years after being found guilty of raping a 17-year-old girl at a party in Kent.

Police said Max Parker, 27, Benjamin Millen, 23 and Ryan King, 20, took advantage of of the teenager knowing she had not consented to sex.

All three were convicted of rape after a three-week trial at Maidstone Crown Court in September.

They were each also given a 10-year sex offenders prevention order.

The three were also ordered to remain on the sex offenders register for life.

Parker, of Fleetdale Parade, Dartford, Millen, of Holywell Lane, Upchurch, and King, of Moore Close, Dartford, were sentenced at Canterbury Crown Court on Tuesday.

The incident took place at a residential property in Dartford on 17 September 2010.

Det Insp Ian Dampier said: "I welcome the sentences and hope that it will allow the victim to continue to rebuild her life.

"The success of this investigation would not have been possible without the bravery of the victim who came forward to report this crime.

"Without her courage, this case would never have come to court."
