Gravesend baby remains critical but stable in hospital

The condition of a one-month-old child from Kent admitted to hospital with serious injuries remains unchanged, police have said.

The baby boy, from Gravesend, was taken to Darent Valley Hospital, in Dartford, on 1 December before being transferred to a hospital in London.

Kent Police said his condition remained "critical, but stable".

A man and a woman arrested on suspicion of assault have been bailed pending further inquiries.
