Kent water bomb pair fined for attacking revellers

Two men have been fined by Kent Police for throwing water bombs at revellers in east Kent.

The pair, both aged 20, admitted targeting people in Folkestone and Deal on Friday night after being stopped by police in a car in Marine Parade, Folkestone.

Officers said they found two large plastic tubs inside the vehicle, with one still containing a water bomb.

The pair received £80 fines on Sunday for public order offences.
