Man arrested over quad bike crash in Cuxton

A man has been arrested after a woman was critically injured in a crash involving a quad bike and a car in north Kent.

The 60-year-old, who was a passenger on the bike, was hurt when the vehicle was in collision with a Ford Focus in Bush Road, Cuxton, near Rochester.

She is said to be in a critical but stable condition in hospital.

Kent Police said a 43-year-old Rochester man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.

The man, who had handed himself in to police, was released on bail pending further investigations into the crash which happened on Tuesday.
