Two on trial accused of Jonathan Ellison murder

A man and a woman have gone on trial accused of the murder of a man who was found beaten to death in his flat in Sussex.

David Sole, of no fixed address, and Denise Antonia, of Appeldore Road, Brighton, both 33, deny the murder of Jonathan Ellison.

Mr Ellison was found dead in his flat in Gloucester Street, Brighton, on 8 April 2011.

The trial is expected to last three weeks at Lewes Crown Court.
