Two more people arrested over stolen Kent church brass

Two more people have been arrested on suspicion of stealing brass from a church in Kent.

Thieves took three candlesticks, a cross, a church plate, a book rest and five vases from St Mary's Church, in Bishopsbourne, between 27 and 29 December.

Two of the candlesticks and the 2ft (60cm) high altar cross were covered in semi-precious stones.

A woman, 20, was arrested on Thursday and man, 23, on Friday.

They are both from from Canterbury, as is a 50-year-old man who was arrested on Tuesday.
