Four held after diamonds taken in Deal 'smash and grab'
Four people have been arrested after diamond rings were taken in a "smash and grab" raid at a jewellery shop.
Police said three men, aged 20, 21 and 30, were held on suspicion of burglary while a woman, 23, was being held on suspicion of handling stolen goods.
Officers said the raiders pulled up on a motorbike outside the shop in Deal High Street at 16:50 GMT on Wednesday.
They used a hammer to smash the window and grabbed a handful of rings, before riding off on a Suzuki motorbike.
The four people arrested, all from Dover, are being questioned in custody.
