Kent Police arrest more than 200 Christmas drink-drivers
More than 200 people were arrested for drinking and driving over the Christmas period in Kent.
A total of 222 people were arrested for failing roadside breath tests between 1 December and 1 January.
Kent Police used a "virtual court" to put 15 drivers immediately before magistrates, 12 of who lost their licence.
Deputy Chief Constable Alan Pughsley praised the system as a "valuable tool in delivering swift justice".
In total police tested 1,126 people throughout the month.
